This Thursday, we will take off for four days backpacking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We will be hiking in the Big Creek area of the park, traveling around 5 miles each day -- an easy trip for the beginning backpacker. We will do a final talk about gear at our meeting this Tuesday. Anyone who is planning to go should be at the Tuesday night meeting.
