Race Ticket Information
The deadline for ordering tickets for the March 20 race is this Tuesday. Please send your order to tomorrow's meeting or contact Mr. Mitchell at 423-483-1172. Other deadlines are May 11 (for June's Drag Races) and July 27 (for the August NASCAR race).
Be Thinking About Summer Camp
Our summer camp dates are June 27-July 3 (different than what was previously published). BSA requires that each scout attending a long term camp have an annual physical. The council will provide an opportunity for scouts to get a physical at a later date, but if you have already scheduled one or if your scout will be having a sports physical at school, please see Mr. Rutherford to get a copy of our physical form. Expo ticket sales are also coming up, and scouts who sell a designated amount of tickets can receive a FREE trip to summer camp ($150 value). More details later.

July 30-31: Overnight camping on South Holston Lake
August 27-29: Bike Hike and Overnight camping on the Virginia Creeper Trail
September/October: District Camporee (TBA) and Trip to Breaks Interstate Park (TBA)
November 13-14: Scouting for Food and Overnight camping
November 20: Scouting for Food Bag Pick-Up
December 4-5: camping TBA
